Listen to the sounds of nature. Watch nature streaming with rhythm. Malaysia is home to more than 100 known waterfalls and some untapped in dense rainforests. These waterfalls, some hard to reach, are noteworthy for their height or dramatic beauty. Waterfall is a place to relax, take a dip and swim as well as a perfect backdrop to snap pictures.

Telaga Tujuh Waterfall in Langkawi consists of seven pools and the locals believe fairies take their bath there. Lata Kijang is a waterfall in Negeri Sembilan is popular as the highest single drop fall in Malaysia, cascading into a rocky ravine from 30 metres high. Lata Cemerong in Terengganu is accessible by a series of steep but well maintained, trails.

The most interesting waterfall experience is Rainbow Waterfall in Sungai Lembing. Every morning around 8am to 10am, the beautiful rainbow will appear amidst cascading waterfalls when the sun’s rays hit on the water. Other famous waterfalls are Jelawang Waterfall in Kelantan and Berkelah Falls in Pahang. Whatever it is, these cascading waterfalls provide a pristine picture perfect backdrop for photo shooting.
