The Raja Muda Selangor Regatta is held annually since 1996. The patron is HM Sultan Selangor and attracts renowned yachting enthusiasts all the way from Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Singapore and Malaysia. Participants include professional yachters and it is listed in the international regatta calendar. Every year, the Ministry of Tourism and Culture Selangor is entrusted with the task of organizing exhibitions as well as a gala dinner which will be graced by HM Sultan Selangor.
