National Science Centre




The National Science Centre located at Bukit Kiara, Kuala Lumpur was opened on 29 November, 1996 by the former Prime Minister of Malaysia, Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad.  The National Science Centre is an architectural marvel with its striking green dome.

The centre contains over 1,000 interactive, hands-on exhibits arranged over 9 galleries and are designed to allow visitors to learn by experience. They include Flight, Energy World, Thinking Machine, Science Wonderland, Kids World, Science Wonderland, Kids Discovery, Wonderspark, Eureka and Aquarium. A Science Educational Park provides hands-on learning for students. Animals such as ostriches, ornamental chickens, rabbits, deer and others are also found in the park.

An underwater walk-through aquarium as well as an inventor's corner for budding minds are two of the more popular exhibits here.
