Held for the first time in 2009, this annual international fresh water fishing competition takes place at the idyllic Kenyir Lake which also serves to promote it as a premier regional tourist destination. Here, anglers get to experience and learn the various types of fish species that populate this lake. Competition rules are based on the “Catch and Release” method with judging based on fish species, length and weight.
