The Chingay Parade has become an integral event in the celebration of the Chinese Lunar New Year. A street parade held annually since 2006, this colourful and energetic parade snakes along 15km through the city of Johor Bahru with 145 troupes displaying their mastery and skills of lion dances, acrobatic shows, drums, gongs and decorative motorcades from afternoon till midnight.
